More than $1.8 million awarded in three specialized grants to provide support for developing and implementing a Single Cell Systems Biology Initiative at the Center for Infectious Disease Research (CIDR).

“We are grateful to the W.M. Keck Foundation, the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust, and The Norcliffe Foundation for providing the support necessary for us to apply this cutting-edge technology to diseases that disproportionately affect people in poverty around the world,” says John Aitchison, Ph.D., President of CIDR. "Their funding will allow us to maximize discovery at the single cell level to accelerate the development of vaccines, drugs and diagnostics with long-term efficacy.”
